2020 Lights of Christmas Different, But Not Dimmed by COVID-19

The Cathedral Parish of St Joseph, in conjunction with a myriad of extremely generous sponsors have together prepared an exciting alternative to the traditional 'Cathedral Lights of Christmas' in-keeping with current COVID-19 restrictions.

The 2020 Lights of Christmas is going virtual, meaning that viewers from our Parish, Diocese and even across the globe can view what has become a local phenomenon over the past few years.

Opening on December 17th at 7:30pm, viewers are invited to step inside St Joseph's Cathedral for the 2020 Virtual Lights of Christmas using their smart phone or tablet. Viewers will be able to experience a digital 3D light show from the comfort of their own home.

Whilst the regular edition of 'The Lights of Christmas' will be sorely missed, you can be sure that this year's virtual offering will be just as exciting, with viewers given the opportunity to see St Joseph's Cathedral in a brand new light, literally!

To view what will be a spectacular merging of the rich history of St Joseph's Cathedral with the wonder of modern technology, click on the YouTube link on December 17th at 7:30pm which can be found at www.lightsofchristmasrockhampton.com.au
